About Spark Ignite.

Spark Ignite is led by Stephanie D’Aubney, a creative practitioner with extensive experience supporting children and young people through performing arts, inclusive practice and alternative provision.

With many years experience working with neurodivergent children and young people, Steffi has developed Spark Ignite in response to the growing number of learners who struggle to access mainstream education and need something different, flexible and human.

Spark Ignite brings together creativity, structure and safeguarding to offer calm, relationship led re engagement support that meets children where they are.

Spark Ignite draws on extensive experience in inclusive creative practice and supporting neurodivergent children and young people.

Experience & ethos

Steffi’s background includes:

  • leading inclusive performing arts provision for children and young people
  • extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners
  • working with children experiencing anxiety, EBSA, trauma and SEMH needs
  • designing low demand, regulation focused environments
  • safeguarding led practice and risk management

Spark Ignite is rooted in the belief that connection comes before learning, and that progress looks different for every child.

How Spark Ignite works

Spark Ignite:

  • works in partnership with schools, local authorities and families
  • offers 1:1 and small group provision
  • prioritises emotional safety and wellbeing
  • maintains clear professional boundaries
  • operates under robust safeguarding and risk management policies

Provision is always considered on an individual basis following referral.

Safeguarding & professionalism

Safeguarding sits at the heart of Spark Ignite.

Clear policies, transparent processes and professional boundaries are in place to ensure children, families and practitioners are supported safely and appropriately at all times.

Spark Ignite is not a school and does not replace statutory education provision. It is designed to complement existing arrangements and support re engagement at an appropriate pace.
